Coseismic Slip Distribution Model Inferred from GEONET data (Preliminary)

Coseismic Slip Distribution Model (Preliminary)
We constructed a distributed slip model using coseismic surface displacement data observed by the GPS Earth Observation Network System (GEONET) for the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake. The vertical displacement calculated using our slip model suggests that large subsidence occurs along the Pacific coast.
This is a preliminary result. We constructed a revised model using additional GPS data which manually collected after restoration of a data transmission system.
