GNSS analysis software "GSILIB" has been released
1. History
Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) conducted a four-year project "Development of a precise positioning technique using multi-GNSS for advanced national land planning" for four years from FY 2011 as a part of "General Technical Development Project" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The developed technique, which utilizes multi-GNSS (GPS, QZSS, GLONASS and Galileo) data, provides more accurate and rapid positioning that would contribute for more efficient public surveys etc. We provide a part of function of multi-GNSS software package named "GSILIB" as an outcome of the project.
2. What's GSILIB?
- The GNSS Survey Implementation Library (GSILIB) is a free GNSS analysis software.
- GSILIB can process the multi-GNSS data including GPS, QZSS, GLONASS and Galileo, and multi-frequency data of L1, L2 and L5 bands.
- The algorithms of GSILIB are originally based on free GNSS analysis software RTKLIB ver.2.4.2 p4(http://www.rtklib.com) and ANTTOOL ver2.1(http://gpspp.sakura.ne.jp/anteva/anttool.htm), which were developed by Mr. Takasu in Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.
- GSILIB works on: Windows 7 (Japanese Version)
- The source codes are written in C.
- Only the functions which more verified are released. Other functions will be released after the verification.
3. New Functions
- GSILIB implements the three new functions to RTKLIB ver.2.4.2 p4: can...
- estimation and correction of the inter-frequency biases (IFB) between the different types of receivers
- estimation and correction of the inter-system biases (ISB) between the different types of receivers
- correction of the quarter cycle shift between L2P(Y) and L2C for each receiver
4. License and Warranty
- GSILIB is under the BSD 2-clause license except for the ANTApp. ANTApp is under the GPS v3 license.
- You can use GSILIB freely under the restriction of BSD 2-clause and/or GPL v3 license. However, if you copy or modify the source code of ANTApp, the products must follow the GPL v3 license.
- Although we performed the operation check of GSILIB, BSD 2-clause or GPL v3 license does not ensure that the source codes are bug-free.
