Map Symbols for“tourist information center”adopted for overseas visitors maps.

2017-07-20:In accordance with the revision of Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) for public information symbols (pictograms),
GSI uses two symbols for “tourist information center” for overseas visitor’s maps.
Going forward, GSI will use either of the new symbols when creating maps for overseas visitors and disseminate them among local public bodies and map-making companies to facilitate their use.
