The Laser Altimeter (LALT) that was installed onboard the KAGUYA(SELENE) moon-orbiting satellite of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) acquired enough elevation data to cover the entirety of the moon. Using the analyzed data, the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) has produced coordinates and elevation data for the measurement points. The Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) has used this data to produce topographic maps of the moon, etc. The Japanese page has been released since 2008, and now we have the English page.
