Technical assistance for developing countries

Technical transfer in the field of survey and mapping to the developing countries is another important concern of GSI. We promote and support international cooperation through various projects implemented by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

Acceptance of trainees

GSI accepts JICA trainees participating in the course of "Planning and Management of National Mapping and Surveying", and those in the "Global Mapping for sustainable development." Also accepted are counterpart staff on an individual basis from recipient organizations to facilitate technical transfer.
