Vol.46-3 ABSTRACT
Abstract Global Mapping Project has moved from stage of concept to stage of production. Participation in Global Mapping Project was called in November 1998. Seventy-five countries participated in the project as of March 5th,2000. It covers approximately 60% of land of globe. Production of Global Map is significantly proceeded by participated countries. Conversion of existing global datasets is also well planned. Related organization of Global Mapping recognized importance and achievements of the project and expressed their contributions to the project. |
