AbstractA Global Mapping Seminar was held in Santa Barbara, CA, USA to promote Global Mapping activities through the interaction between experts from data-providing agencies and potential users. This paper reports on the seminar and the Santa Barbara Statement adopted by the participants and the second meeting of the International Steering Committee for Global Mapping (ISCGM) which was held after the seminar. There is also a brief explanation about the Global Mapping concept and activities. |
